On Thursday night we headed to Hammersmith to watch Ricky Gervais at the Apollo and it didn't disappoint. He was funny - but was it worth £35? I don't know. I think I would happily pay that much to watch live theatre or live music, but live stand up comedy i.e. one man with a mike? Hmmm.
As a one-off, probably worth it. And he is one of the biggest comedy "stars" around I guess.
